Kamar: Kamar professionally makes iron utensils for household use. The Shudra sect of Hindu society has been involved in blacksmithing in the countryside since time immemorial. There was a black market in the village market or in a certain neighborhood. Iron artisans make various products with iron, the harsh sound of beating iron, the smell of burning, the spark of fire emitted from burnt iron is the common scene of the blacksmith's neighborhood. The blacksmiths now live not only in the villages, but also in the cities. The existence of blacksmiths is directly related to traditional agriculture, irrigation and housing. In earlier days most of the houses and agricultural implements were made by blacksmiths. Among the materials they have prepared are shovels, axes, shovels, pots, nails, knives, tweezers, sleeves etc. Among the implements used in agriculture are plowshares, sickles, weeders, Veda cutters, pickaxes etc. The tools used by blacksmiths to make carpenters are saws, baits, batali, randa, hammers, etc. The Shudra sect of Hindu society saw the emergence of a class of blacksmiths. According to the common folklore, Karmakar or Kamar is born from the love of Devashilpi Bishwakarma with a Shudra woman. Blacksmiths can be divided into four classes, namely Bashundari, Rana, Gangaliri and Bahal or Khota. They do not establish marital relations unless they belong to the same category. According to HH Risley, the three social classes of blacksmiths in East Bengal are Bushnapati, Dhakai and Paschima. The Bushnapatis are again divided into three groups, namely Naldipati, Chaudsamaj and Panchasamaj. There is no obstacle for them to establish mutual marital relations among themselves. Most of the blacksmiths in Bangladesh are Vaishnavism but a small number of blacksmiths are Shaktas. Their favorite deity is Bishwakarma, who is worshiped on the last day of the month of Bhadra with sweets, chira, molasses, flowers, sandalwood juice or bata, Ganga water, cloth and silver ornaments. At the same time the tools used by the blacksmiths are also worshiped. The women perform vows of Ananta, Savitri, Sasthi, Panchami etc. and perform the story of Nistarini and Mangalchandi. Women and children worship with sweets, milk, fruits, etc. Among the orthodox Hindus, the blacksmiths of the Shudra sect are in a relatively good condition. They are not untouchable in society. In rural areas they are living separately with their activities, culture and traditions. They participate in village fairs with their products. At present many Muslims are also seen in this profession. Many blacksmiths take up other occupations in both rural and urban areas as per their choice. Barber or hairdresser: Barber or hairdresser is a class of professionals who cut people's hair and shave their beards in different ways. In the past, barbers also worked as arms dealers and dentists. Nowadays, with the development of safety razors, shaving of beards and mustaches has come down to barbers, so barbers usually cut their hair. All hairdressers have simple haircuts, but many of the hairdressers who cut their hair in the salon have different styles or fancy haircuts. Haircuts are also called barber shops or hair salons or just salons. However, in case of urgent need and request to shave the hair of the elderly, many barbers go home and cut their hair.
